Cabin By the Alps

This has been one of the first mountain scape (is there a word like that ? :-)) that I did and liked !...so I share it with you. This painting involves a lot of techniques.The one technique which is my all time favourite is the pulling down reflections on water with the 2 inch brush! The others are the pulling down of snow on the mountain and the pine trees with the fan brush and the clouds as well.The cabin makes the picture quite a romantic destination for a holiday,perhaps to write a book or a blog or for some private moments with your lover...;-)

Forest Edge

For those of you who has seen the Bob Ross TV series this particular painting may be familiar and quite a favourite one. Forests and landscapes have caught my fancy and so I have enjoyed doing this.Again, similar to the previous oval brown tone forest that I did I used Jesso, then went on with the layering of the colours.

Somehow this reminds me of the verse from the Bible,

But the path of the just is like the shining sun,That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day(Proverbs 4:18)

For this reason each time I look at this painting it tells me of the promise that my path is going to get brighter and brighter everyday !! Yahoo!!
